Looking Up Your SpitFire License or Dongle Number

There may be occasions in which you will need to refer to your SpitFire software license number, a.k.a. dongle number, when speaking to Technical Support or Sales.
There is an application called Licenseman.exe that will show you this information, as well as the lines, agents, expiration dates, etc that are programmed into your Dongle.
Licenseman.exe will be located in either the C:\SPD\ folder or the C:\SpitFireX\ folder.

Here is how you can look at the information:

1. Click Start-->Run.

2. In the Run window, click on the Browse button.

3. Click on the drop-down for Look In and select the system drive (usually Local Disk C:)

4. Now double-click on the SPD or SpitFireX folder.

5. Then double-click on the Licenseman.exe file.

6. Click OK on the next screen.

7. You may be presented with this window when it does the Lease Date check. If so, just click OK.

8. Here you can see the License number and all other relevant information regarding your SpitFire Software License.
