The following article describes the installation and configuration procedure for the Cisco VPN client that is used by customers who have purchased a Hosted SpitFire system.
The installation file for the VPN client will be provided on disk or by OPC Technical Support.
Cisco VPN Client Installation
Important: The current the Cisco VPN Client supports only 32 bit, Windows Operating Systems. Vista 64 bit and WinXP 64 Bit are not supported.
1. Double-click on the installer and you will get the first screen. Click Next.
2. Click on the "I Accept.." option and then Next again.
3. Click Next on the next few screens until you reach the Finish screen.
4. Click Finish.
5. It will ask you to reboot the Computer once the installation is finished. You can do this immediately or after you have finished other installations or windows you were working on. However, the Computer must be rebooted before continuing on to the Configuration phase of these instructions.
Configuring the Cisco VPN Client
1. Open client by going to Start-->Programs-->Cisco Systems VPN Client-->VPN Client.
You can also right-click on that icon and click Send To: Desktop (create shortcut)
2. Once you have opened the VPN Client, click on the New icon to create a new entry.
3. This brings up the Create New VPN Connection Entry window. The settings you see below have been filled in as they would normally be for any Hosted customer.
However, the Name and Password will need to be provided to you by OPC Tech Support.
4. Click Save and then double-click on the new entry, named manda. Once it begins connecting, it will ask for the user name and password:
Again, the Username and Password will be provided to you by OPC Tech Support.
5. Once connected, the Connection Banner will come up and you will click Continue.
6. Now, you should have a small lock icon in the bottom, right-hand corner of the Desktop, by the clock.

7. If you are not connected to the VPN, the icon will look like the following:
8. You can double-click on that icon to reconnect to the VPN.
If this is an Agent station, once connected, you should be able to log on the Agent software (when a Campaign is running), get connected via the X-Lite softphone and take calls.
