Reworking A List in SPD ListMaker Pro
Reworking a list will reset the list so that you can dial it again. This is typically used when a list is exhausted. In other words, all of the records in the list have been dialed at least once. You may get a message in the Campaign window that tells you the list is "empty or exhausted". Or you may try to load the list into the Campaign window and see the Campaign drop it immediately. These are signs that the list needs to be Reworked.
You can select what type of Dispositions to rework and leave the others alone that you don't want to call again. For instance, you may want to rework the answering machines, busies and no answers but not the Hits, Warms or Colds that the Agents have marked during the dialing.
Note: This article refers to the SpitFire Predictive Pro ListMaker procedure. However, the SpitFire X Autodialer ListMaker procedures are nearly identical.
See THIS article for a video on the SpitFire X Autodialer ListMaker rework function.
List Rework: Best Practices
It is typically advised that you rework a list only when the list is exhausted so that you can be sure you have dialed all the records in the list. Reworking a list that has not been dialed all the way through will cause the Dialer to start at the beginning of the list again and dial the records that had been reworked first. Then it would move on to the rest of the records.
You can look at the current state of a list using a feature in the Utilities of ListMaker called View Call Results.
1. Open ListMaker and the click on Lists-->Open List and select the list you want to examine.

2. Then click on Utilities-->View call results.

3. You will then have a page that shows the current stats of the list, with Available records at the top of the statistics. Available records are the number of records that have not been dialed yet.

In this case the list has over 2 million available records and thus probably does not need to be reworked.
You can rework a list as many times as you want; there is no software limitation. However, you should be aware that usually the more a list is reworked, the less productive it becomes. Eventually most lists will reach a point of diminishing returns, where most of the good phone numbers and leads have already been contacted. If you choose to rework All Dispositions (see inst
Important: NEVER rework a list at the same time it is being dialed.
Reworking A List
1. Once you have the list opened in ListMaker (see step 1 above), then you can click on Utilities-->Rework.

Here you can choose to Rework the Current List that you have opened or Multiple Lists at the same time.
In this example we will select Current List
2. This will bring up the Rework window where you can select which Dispositions you want to rework and even specify if you only want to rework certain Dispositions within a specific city, state, zip code, etc.

Every possible disposition for a record can be selected individually here or you can click All Dispositions to reset the entire list (with the exception of Hits or Nocalls).
Dispositions like No Answer, Busy, Fax/Data, System Detected Other, System Detected AM and Drop are dispositions that are applied to the records in your list by the Dialer.
Whereas Dispositions like Warm, Cold, Hangups, Agent Detected Other, Agent Detected AM, User1 and User 2 are all dispositions applied by the Agents when they are done with the calls.
Voice Dispositions is a very broad category that includes any calls detected as a Voice connect and then either transferred to your Agents or dropped because there was no Agent available.
It is up to you which Dispositions you check off to Rework and you can select any combination that you want to reset.
Once again, it is important to mention that even if you select All Dispositions, ListMaker will not rework Hits and Nocalls.
3. Click the Rework button at the bottom of the window to reset the records.

4. When the process is finished, you will see the number of records that were reset and then how many records are Available, meaning how many can be called now.

5. Now you can close ListMaker and load this list back into your Campaign window and/or select a new list in ListMaker to Rework.
