Introduction
With SpitFire Predictive Pro version 1.2.139 or later, a new feature has been added to allow you to specify certain area codes or states to specific Agent logons. So, for instance, you could have one of your Agents only receive calls from area code 214 or only from the state of Texas. So if you have lists that have multiple states and area codes in them but you want to segment out the calls from specific States or area codes to certain Agents, you can do that.
Configuring Agent Profiles
The Agent logons that are created in ListMaker, under the Agents menu is where you will add or edit the area codes or States that need to be assigned to specific Agents.
1. Open ListMaker Pro and click on the Agent menu. Click Add Agent to create a new logon.
Here you can see that this new Agent logon has been assigned to area codes 214,972 and 469.
2. To edit or add information to an existing Agent logon, click on the Agent-->Edit Agent menu in ListMaker to bring up the Edit/Delete Agents window.
3. Scroll over to get the Target States and Target AreaCode sections to edit those. Multiple entries must be separated by commas.
Configuring Campaign
In order to make the Campaign begin to use these parameters, a setting must be changed in the configuration (ini) file for each Campaign that will use this feature.
1. Stop all Campaigns and close them completely.
2. Double-click on My Computer and then go to C:\SPD\.
3. Each Campaign icon on the Desktop has a corresponding ini file listed in this folder. The 1.ini is for Campaign 1. Double-click this icon to open it in Notepad.
4. Press CTRL+F to open the Find box and type agenttarget into the Find what: box. This will bring you to the parameter listed above.
5. Change the default value of None to either areacode or state, depending on how you are wanting to use the feature.
6. Then just click File-->Save at the top of the Notepad window, to save your changes.
Randomizing Lists
This last step if VERY important to enure this feature works efficiently. Lists that are not randomized and are in order by State can cause certain Agents to have to wait until the Campaign has reached the States for those particular Agents.
This LINK will take you to a specific article on how to randomize lists.
